This internationally-recognized virtual course will teach you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, leaders, supervisors, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help another adult who may be experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge or crisis. The course introduces common mental health challenges and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help adults in both crisis and non-crisis situations.
